Teachers, staff, and other public education supporters are encouraged to attend the “Support Our Schools Day of Action” canvass launch this Saturday, Sept. 27, at 10 am at Newport News Park shelter #5 with VEA Fund-endorsed candidates Del. Shelly Simonds and Dr. Mark Downey. Both Del. Simonds and Dr. Downey are advocates for better school funding and for labor rights.
